2020-1724 RESOLUTION NO. 2020 — 1724
Whereas, Julie T. Strunz is retiring from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for 28 years,
retiring as an Accounting Clerk with the Clerk-Treasurer's Office; and
Whereas, during Julie Strunz's employment with the City of Janesville, she provided
exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties
of her position, which she performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty, and
dedication; and
Whereas, Julie Strunz began her employment with the City of Janesville as a
Switchboard Operator in the Clerk-Treasurer's Office; and
Whereas, Julie Strunz held a variety of positions including Utility Billing Clerk I, Water
Utility Billing Clerk II in the Water Utility, Record's Clerk, and Accounting Clerk; and
Whereas, Julie Strunz was nominated the Finance and Administrative Employee of the
Year in 1998 and 2004; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Julie Strunz for her 28 years of
loyal public service.
