ORDINANCE NO. 2005-273
An ordinance changing the zoning classification of property located at 2025 Beloit
Avenue from B3 to M2, with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set
forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCil OF THE CITY OF JANESVlllE DO ORDAIN AS FOllOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed
from 83, General Commercial District, to M2, General Industrial District:
Part of the NW.1/4 of the SW.1/4 of Section 7, T.2N., R13E., City of Janesville, Rock County,
Wisconsin, described as follows: Commencing at the West Quarter corner of said Section 7;
thence S.Oo24'50"E., on a true bearing along the West line of the SW.1/4 of said Section,
274.66 feet to an iron pipe monument set at the place of beginning for the land to be herein
described; thence N.89°E., as measured at right angles to said West line, 386.03 feet to an iron
pipe monument set on the Southwesterly RO.W. (right of way) line of the Chicago and
Northwestern Railroad; thence S.38°02'35"E., along said Southwesterly RO.W. line 129.17 feet
to an iron pipe monument; thence S.89OW., parallel with the first described line, 464.89 feet to
an iron pipe monument set on the West line of the SW.1/4 of Section 7, aforesaid; thence
N.Oo24'50"W., along said West line 1 02.30 feet to an iron pipe monument at the place of
beginning.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
