RESOLUTION NO. 2005-165
A resolution releasing two adjoining 8-foot utility easements located on Lots 7 and 8 of the
plat of Orchard View.
WHEREAS, an 8-foot utility easement located on the north lot line of Lot 7 and an 8-foot utility
easement located on the south lot line of Lot 8, both dedicated within the original plat of Orchard
View as recorded on May 17, 1967, in Volume 23 of Plats, on Page 28 as Document Number
716244, in the Office of the Register of Deeds, Rock County, Rock County, Wisconsin.
WHEREAS, said utility easements have not been used for municipal facilities and are no longer
needed for utility purposes; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the release of said utility easements will not be contrary
to the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said utility easements as described below shall
be released:
Located in the NE.l/4 of Section 34, T.3N., R.12E. of the 4th P.M., City of
Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin described as follows:
An 8-foot utility easement located along the north lot line of Lot 7 and an
8-foot utility easement located along the south line of Lot 8 ofthe original
plat of Orchard View in the City of J anesville, Rock County, Wisconsin.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption of this resolution, the City Clerk is
directed to record a certified copy ofthis resolution with the Register of Deeds of Rock County,
Wisconsin, thus granting the easement releases as herein described.
