2019-773 ORDINANCE NO. 2019-773
An ordinance changing the zoning classification of a portion of 600 South Pine
Street from B3, General Commercial District, to R2, Limited General Residence
District, with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth in
Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
changed from B3, General Commercial District, to R2, Limited General Residence
District:
Part of the SE.1/4 of Section 35, T.3N., R.12E. of the 4th P.M., City of Janesville,
Rock County, Wisconsin, described as follows:
Part of Lot 8, Block 7, and S. Pine Street, Smith's Addition, City of Janesville,
Rock County, Wisconsin. Commencing at the SW corner of said Lot 8; thence
N2°11'51"W along the West Line of said Lot, 23.26 feet to the place of beginning;
thence N2°11'51"W continuing along said West Line, 16.02 feet; thence
N87°48'51"E 165.43 feet to the centerline of S. Pine Street; thence S2°11'09"E
along said centerline, 15.22 feet; thence S87°32'12"W 165.42 feet to the place of
beginning.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the
Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public
benefit, and police power so requiring.
