Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Janesville held in the Municipal Building
on November 23, 2004.
The meeting was called to order by Council President Steeber at 6:30 p.m.
Present: Council President Steeber, Councilmembers Addie, Brien, Tim Wellnitz, Tom
Wellnitz and Williams. Absent: Councilmember DeGarmo.
A proposed resolution authorizing the City Manager to make an application to the County
of Rock, Wisconsin, for an exemption from the Library Tax Levy. Councilmember Williams
moved to adopt said resolution, seconded by Councilmember Brien and passed
unanimously. (File Res. No. 2004-120)
A proposed resolution adopting a budget, appropriating funds, authorizing expenditures
and levying a tax therefor by the City of Janesville for the fiscal year ending December 31,
2005. Councilmember Addie moved to adopt said resolution, seconded by Councilmember
Tom Wellnitz and passed unanimously. (File Res. No. 2004-119)
Matters not on the Agenda. There were none.
There being no further business, Council adjourned at 6:38 p.m.
