2019-1672 RESOLUTION NO. 2019 — 1672
Whereas, Steven F. Sage is retiring from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for 25 years,
retiring as a Senior Engineer with the Engineering Division; and
Whereas, during Steve Sage's employment with the City of Janesville, he provided
exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties
of his position, which he performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty, and
dedication; and
Whereas, Steve Sage began his employment with the City of Janesville as a Civil
Engineer II in the Engineering Department in March of 1994; and
Whereas, Steve Sage was promoted to Senior Engineer in January of 2004, a position
which he held until his retirement; and
Whereas, during his career, Steve Sage had a direct influence designing or
constructing approximately 75 miles of new sanitary sewer mains, 95 miles of new
water mains, and 44 miles of new storm sewer mains; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Steven F. Sage for his 25 years of
loyal public service.
