2019-1671 RESOLUTION NO. 2019 — 1671
Whereas, Scott White is retiring from City of Janesville employment after having diligently served the
people of the City of Janesville and the community for 32 years, retiring as a Customer Service
Technician 3 with the Water Utility; and
Whereas, during Scott White's employment with the City of Janesville, he provided exemplary
professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of his position, which he
performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication; and
Whereas, Scott White began his employment with the City of Janesville as a Sanitary Equipment
Operator in the Public Works Streets Department in March of 1987; and
Whereas, Scott White transferred to the Water Utility in March of 1989 when he took the position of
Water Meter Reader; and
Whereas, Scott White was involved in a variety of assignments during his City career including
Sanitary Equipment Operator, Water Meter Reader, Customer Service Person, and Customer Service
Leadperson which was retitled to Customer Service Technician 3; and
Whereas, Scott White was nominated for the Employee of the Year Award in 2004; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be properly
recognized.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville, through the City Council,
do express their grateful appreciation to Scott White for his 32 years of loyal public service.
