ORDINANCE NO. 2004-243
An ordinance changing the zoning classification of property located south of Doe Drive
and east of Afton Road from R3 to R1, with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation
thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of
Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCil OF THE CITY OF JANESVlllE DO ORDAIN AS FOllOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed
from R3, General Residence District, to R1, Single and Two-Family Residence District:
Part of the Northwest % Section 15, T.2N., R.12E, of the 4th P.M., City of Janesville, Rock
County, Wisconsin, described as follows:
As follows: Part of Government Lot 1 lying between C.M.ST.P. & P Railroad, centerline of Afton
Road and the north right-of-way line of State Highway 11.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
