RESOLUTION NO. 2004-82
WHEREAS, Kathryn A. Hanthorn is retiring from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for thirty years; starting
employment with the Clerk-Treasurer's Office, transferring to the Janesville Police Department with
promotions to the positions of Accounting Clerk and Computer Operator; retiring as a Records
Specialist with the Janesville Police Department; and
WHEREAS, during Kathryn A. Hanthorn's employment with the City of Janesville, she
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of
her position, which she performed with competence, sincerity, honesty and dedication; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be properly
recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Kathryn A. Hanthorn for her thirty years of
loyal public service.
