RESOLUTION NO. 2004·67
A resolution vacating an access road adjoining property located at 2019 and 2029 Center
Avenue.
WHEREAS, an access road, adjoining property located at 2019 and 2029 Center Avenue,
hereinafter designated and previously dedicated for right-of-way purposes is hereby determined
to be no longer needed for public use, and therefore, the public interest requires the vacation of
such street portion; and
WHEREAS, the proposed street vacation has been referred to the Plan Commission for its
consideration and report as required by 62.23(5), Wisconsin Statutes; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the vacation of such street portion and notice required
by Wisconsin Statutes 66.296 has been timely published and served.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JANESVILLE that the following described street portion be and is hereby vacated and
discontinued pursuant to 66.296 and 66.22(1m), Wisconsin Statutes:
Part of the SW.~ of Section 12, T.2N., R.12E., of the 4th P.M., Rock Township, Rock County,
Wisconsin, described as follows:
That portion of the unnamed frontage road located to the East of Lot 3 of Certified Survey Map
recorded August 5, 1994 in Volume 17 of Certified Survey Maps, Pages 336-339 as Document
No. 1240413 (hereinafter referred to as "CSM No. 1240413"), and that portion of the unnamed
frontage road located to the South of Lots 2 and 3 of CSM No. 1240413 and to the North of Lot
2 of Certified Survey Map recorded December 2, 1987 in Volume 13 of Certified Survey Maps,
Pages 123-125 as Document No. 1063244 (hereinafter referred to as "CSM No. 1063244"), with
title to that portion of the unnamed frontage road located to the East of Lot 3 of CSM No.
1240413 reverting to Lot 3 of such CSM and title to the North 15 feet (North /'2) of that portion of
the unnamed frontage road located to the South of Lots 2 and 3 of CSM No. 1240413 reverting
to Lots 2 and 3 of such CSM, and with title to the South 15 feet (South /'2) of that portion of the
unnamed frontage road located to the North of Lot 2 of CSM No. 1063244 reverting to Lot 2 of
such CSM.
