An ordinance changing the zoning classification of a portion of 1717 Center Avenue from B3, General
Commercial District to Ml, Light Industrial District with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation
thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed from B3, General
Commercial District, to Ml, Light Industrial District:
Part of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 12, T.2N., R.12E., of the 4th P.M., City of Janesville, Rock County,
Wisconsin.
Described as follows: Beginning at the SE Corner of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section; thence
N88°04'10"W along the North Line of a Certified Survey Map recorded in Volume 1, Pages 262 & 263, a
distance of 849.36 feet to the West Line of Lafayette Street; thence NO°30'50"E 662.74 feet to the North Line of
the South 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of the NW ' of said Section; thence S88°05'50"E along said North Line, 848.93 feet
to the East Line of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section; thence SO°28'40"W along said East Line, 663.16
feet to the place of beginning.
SECTION II. The above rezoning is subject to the following conditions:
1. That all large trucks entering the subject property utilize the following route: Center Avenue to West
Conde Street, east to Lafayette Street, and north to the property.
2. That all large trucks exiting the subject property utilize the following route: Lafayette Street south to
West Conde Street and west to Center Avenue.
3. Large trucks are classified as those vehicles that maintain a wheelbase (the distance between the front
and rear axles) of 20 feet or greater.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common Council, the public
health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police power so requiring.
