2019-1603 RESOLUTION NO. 2019-1603 Whereas, Brian Rubeck is retiring from City of Janesville employment after having diligently served the people of the City and the community for over 29 years, retiring as a Police Officer with the Janesville Police Department; and Whereas, during Brian Rubeck's employment with the City of Janesville, he provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of his position, which he performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication; and Whereas, Brian Rubeck began his employment with the City of Janesville as a Police Officer in October of 1989; and Whereas, Brian Rubeck was involved in a variety of assignments during his career including Range Officer, Emergency Response Team Member, C Shift Uniform Patrol, A Shift Uniform Patrol, and Field Training Officer; and Whereas, Brian Rubeck received Janesville Police Department Commendations in 2004 and 2008, and the Problem Oriented Policing Award for 2010; and Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be properly recognized. Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville, through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Brian Rubeck for his 29 years of loyal public service.
