2019-1606 RESOLUTION NO. 2019-1606
Whereas, Cindi Hoffmann is retiring from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City and the community for over 31 years; retiring as
an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Finance Office; and
Whereas, during her employment with the City, she provided exemplary professional
service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of her position, which
she performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication; and
Whereas, Cindi Hoffmann began her employment with the City of Janesville as a Clerk
Typist II in the Community Development Office in June of 1987; and
Whereas, Cindi Hoffmann also worked in the Finance Department as a Secretary 1 and
then as an Accounts Payable Clerk; and
Whereas, Cindi Hoffmann was instrumental in her office's implementation of the New
World financial system and the electronic processing of accounts payable; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Cindi Hoffmann for her 31 years
of loyal public service.
