2019-1601 RESOLUTION NO. 2019-1601
Whereas, Robin Butson is retiring from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City and the community for over 30 years, retiring as
a Records Clerk with the Janesville Police Department; and
Whereas, during Robin Butson's employment with the City, she provided exemplary
professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of her
position, which she performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication;
and
Whereas, Robin Butson began her employment with the City as a Part-time
Communication Technician with the Janesville Police Department in April of 1988; and
Whereas, Robin Butson spent her 30 plus years at the Janesville Police Department in
a variety of job titles including Records Technician and Records Clerk; and
Whereas, Robin Butson was named the 2012 Civilian Employee of the Year; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Robin Butson for her 30 plus
years of loyal public service.
