2018-736 ORDINANCE NO. 2018-736 An ordinance changing and establishing the zoning classification of property located at 1520 West Avalon Road to R1, Single-Family and Two-Family Residence District. THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is established as R1, Single-Family and Two-Family Residence District: Part of Lot 2 of a Certified Survey Map recorded in Volume 11, Pages 17 and 18, as Document No. 952721 and located in the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 14, T.2N., R.12E., Rock Township, Rock County, Wisconsin, described as follows: Commencing at a D.O.T. Disk at the East 1/4 Corner of said Section; thence N.89°39'10"W. along the East-West Centerline of said Section, 1931.09 feet to the West Line of said Lot 2; thence N.0°18'06"W. along West Line, 49.50 feet to a capped iron pin on the North Line of West Avalon Road, also being at the place of beginning for the land to be herein described; thence N.0°18'06"W continuing along said West Line, 267.89 feet to a capped iron pin on the South Line of S.T.H. "11"; thence S.61°34'10"E. along said South Line, 289.18 feet to an iron pin; thence S.0°18'04"E. continuing along said South Line 89.95 feet to a capped iron pin; thence S.78°27'08"W. continuing along said South Line, 202.71 feet to an iron pin; thence N.89°39'54"W. along said North Line of W. Avalon Road 54.76 feet to the place of beginning. SECTION V. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police power so requiring.
