2004-222ORDINANCE NO. 2004-222 An ordinance changing the zoning classification of property located at 10 South High Street from 02 to B6 with Historic Overlay, with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville. THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed from 02, Central Office/Residence District to B6, Central Service District, with Historic Overlay. Part of the SW ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 36 T.3N., R.12E. of the 4th P.M., Janesville Township, Rock County, Wisconsin. DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 17 of Smith, Bailey & Stone's Subdivision; thence northeasterly along the north line of said Lot 17 to the northeast corner of said Lot 17; thence continuing northeasterly 32.5 feet to the centerline of South High Street; thence southerly along said centerline to its intersection with the centerline of Dodge Street; thence westerly along the centerline of Dodge Street 182.27 feet; thence northerly and perpendicular to the south line of Lot 14 of Smith, Bailey & Stone's Subdivision 32.5 feet to a point along the south line of said Lot 14; thence continuing northerly 148.7 feet to a point along the north line of Lot 18 of Smith, Bailey & Stone's Subdivision; thence westerly along said north line 24 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police power so requiring.
