An ordinance changing the zoning classification of 483-485 North Walnut Street
from B2, Community Shopping District to R2, Limited General Residence District,
with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth in Section
18.28.010 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
changed from B2, Community Shopping District, to R2, Limited General Residence
District:
Property located within the NE.1/4 of Section 35, T.3N., R.12E. of the 4th
P.M., City of Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin, described as follows: Lots
51-52-53-54 and 55 (excluding the south 66' of these lots) of Pleasant View
Addition, a plat recorded in the Rock County Register of Deeds Office, Rock
County, Wisconsin. Also includes one-half of the public right-of-way of those
portions of Mineral Point Avenue and North Walnut Street that are adjoining
above-described property.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
