2018-1541 RESOLUTION NO. 2018 — 1541
WHEREAS, Lisa Waelti is retiring from City of Janesville employment after having diligently
served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for over 30 years, retiring as an
Administrative Assistant II in the Public Works - Operations Division; and
WHEREAS, during Lisa Waelti's employment with the City of Janesville, she provided
exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of her
position, which she performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication; and
WHEREAS, Lisa Waelti began her employment with the City of Janesville as a Clerk Typist II
with the Fire Department in July of 1987; and
WHEREAS, Lisa Waelti held a variety of titles/jobs in multiple departments during her career
starting with the Fire Department, then going to the Police Department where she held the
positions of Secretary I, Secretary II, before transferring to Public Works/Operations where she
held the positions of Administrative Assistant and Administrative Assistant II; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be properly
recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Lisa Waelti for her more than 30 years of
loyal public service.
