2018-1534 FILE RESOLUTION NO. 2018-1534
A resolution recognizing outgoing citizen board, commission, and committee
members for their loyal and conscientious service to the City of Janesville.
WHEREAS, members of boards, commissions, and committees provide an invaluable service to
our City, advising the City Council on a wide variety of subjects by making recommendations on
important policy matters; and
WHEREAS, without the assistance of the various boards, commissions, and committees, the
City Council could give many complex and significant matters only a cursory review; and
WHEREAS, serving on a board, commission, and committee is an excellent way to participate
in the functioning of local government and to make a personal contribution to the improvement
of our community; and
WHEREAS, the following individuals served on a City board, commission, or committee
with their tenure ending during or at the close of the 2017 / 2018 term:
