2018-1535 FILE RESOLUTION NO. 2018-1535
A resolution recognizing incoming citizen board, commission, and committee members for
their willingness and capability to serve the City of Janesville.
WHEREAS, members of boards, commissions, and committees provide an invaluable service to our City,
advising the City Council on a wide variety of subjects by making recommendation on important policy matters;
and
WHEREAS, without the assistance of the various boards, commissions, and committees, the City Council
could give many complex and significant matters only a cursory review; and
WHEREAS, serving on a board, commission, or committee is an excellent way to participate in the functioning
of local government and to make a personal contribution to the improvement of our community; and
WHEREAS, the following individuals were appointed to serve on a City board, commission, or committee
throughout the 2017 / 2018 term or beginning at the start of the 2018 /2019 term:
