2018-1529 RESOLUTION NO. 2018 — 1529
WHEREAS, Keith Write is retiring from City of Janesville employment after having diligently
served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for 27 years; retiring as a
Storekeeper II, in the Public Works/Operations Department; and
WHEREAS, during Keith's employment with the City of Janesville, he provided exemplary
professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of his position,
which he performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication; and
WHEREAS, Keith began his employment with the City of Janesville as a Laborer II in the
Streets Department in October of 1991; and
WHEREAS, Keith held numerous positions in the Public Works Department including Laborer
Ill, Equipment Operator I in the Streets Department, Ground Maintenance II, Ground
Maintenance III, Leadman I in the Parks Department and then Storekeeper II in Operations,
which is the position Keith held until his retirement; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be properly
recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Keith Write for his 27 years of loyal public
service.
