2018-712 FILE ORDINANCE NO. 2018-712
An ordinance changing the zoning classification of 2338 Center Avenue from B2,
Community Shopping District to R3, General Residence District, with a penalty and
injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code
of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
changed from B2, Community Shopping District, to R3, General Residence District:
Property located in part of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 11, T.2N., R.12E. of the 4th
P.M., City of Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin, which includes all of Lot 1 of a Certified
Survey Map recorded in Volume 38, Pages 440 through 444 of Certified Survey Maps of
Rock County, Wisconsin, as Document No. 2096742 and also public right-of-way
extending from the east line of said Lot 1 to the centerline of the Center Avenue roadway.
Containing 2.4 acres more or less.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
