2018-1481 RESOLUTION NO. 2018 — 1481
Whereas, Kari A. Johnson is retiring from City of Janesville employment after
having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for over
19 years; retiring as an Administrative Assistant I with the Janesville Transit System;
and
Whereas, during Kari Johnson's employment with the City of Janesville, she
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of her position, which she performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty,
and dedication; and
Whereas, Kari Johnson began her employment with the City of Janesville as a
Secretary in the Transit Division in November of 1998; and
Whereas, Kari is the voice of Janesville Transit, having answered thousands of
customer inquiries regarding route schedules and transit operations during her career;
and
Whereas, Kari is an instrumental part of the JTS Team by taking very seriously
her responsibilities for entering ridership and revenue data, compiling payroll, executing
invoice request forms, and providing high quality customer service; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville
be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Kari Johnson for her
19 years of loyal public service.
