2018-1483 RESOLUTION NO. 2018 — 1483
Whereas, Dennis F. Ryan, is retiring from City of Janesville employment after
having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for over
24 years; retiring as the Assistant City Engineer in the Public Works - Engineering
Division; and
Whereas, during Dennis Ryan's employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of his position, which he performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty,
and dedication; and
Whereas, Dennis Ryan began his employment with the City of Janesville as a
Senior Engineer in the Engineering Department in May 1993; and
Whereas, Dennis Ryan was promoted to Assistant Engineering Manager in
February of 2010, and his job title later changed to Assistant City Engineer, a position
which Dennis Ryan held until his retirement; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville
be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Dennis Ryan for his
24 years of loyal public service.
