2018-1482 RESOLUTION NO. 2018 — 1482
Whereas, Jane H. Reedy is retiring from City of Janesville employment after
having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for over
17 years; retiring as an Accountant in the Finance Office; and
Whereas, during Jane Reedy's employment with the City of Janesville, she
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of her position, which she performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty,
and dedication; and
Whereas, Jane Reedy began her employment with the City of Janesville as an
Accountant in the Finance and Administration Department in December of 2000; and
Whereas, Jane Reedy was an invaluable member of the office for many years,
and especially during the implementation of the new financial software; and
Whereas, Jane Reedy was instrumental in her office's efficiency processing the
City's payroll and financial reporting; trained numerous individuals on utilization of the
financial software; responded to reporting questions and requests for information; and
participated in the City's Wellness Committee; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville
be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Jane Reedy for her 17
years of loyal public service.
