2017-709 FILE ORDINANCE NO. 2017-709
An ordinance changing the zoning classification of a portion of 2601 Beloit Ave from
M1, Light Industrial District, to M2, General Industrial District, with a penalty and
injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.01 O of the Code
of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS=
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
changed from M1, Light Industrial District, to M2, General Industrial District:
Lot 1 of a certified survey map recorded in Volume 29, Pages 98 and 99 of Certified
Survey Maps of Rock County, Wisconsin, as Document No. 11727001 and located in the
SW '/+ of the SW V:. of Section 7 and in the NW '/. of the NW '/e of Section 18, all in T.2N_,
R_13E. of the 4th P.M. City of Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest Corner of Lot 2 of Certified Survey Map recorded in Volume
13, Page 460 and 461 of Certified Survey Maps in the Register of Deeds Office, thence
S0°06'22"E., along the West line of said Lot 2, 200.00 feet; thence N89'44'40"W, 307.00
feet to the extension of the East line of Lot 1 of a Certified Survey Map recorded in Volume
29, Pages 57 through 60 of Certified Survey Maps in the Register of Deeds Office; thence
N0'24'50"E, along said East line 200.00 feet; thence S89°44'40"E, 305.18 feet to the point
of beginning. Containing 1.4 acres more or less.
SECTION 11_ This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
