An ordinance changing and establishing the zoning classification of a portion of 915
Sharon Road.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is established
as R1, Single-family and Two-family Residence District:
Part of the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 6, T.2N., R.13E., of the 4th P.M., LaPrairie Township,
Rock County, Wisconsin, described as follows: Commencing at the North % corner of Section
6, T.2N., R.13E., thence along the North line of said Section 6 to the East line of the Northwest
% of the Northeast % of said Section 6; thence along said East line of the Northwest % of the
Northeast % of said Section 6 to the intersection of the Northerly right of way of Sharon Road
and the point of beginning; thence North 53°20' West, 100 feet; thence North 3°45' West, 457.6
feet to a point 50 feet south of the corporate limits of the City of Janesville; thence North 86°15'
East, 76.1 feet to the East line of the Northwest % of the Northeast % of said Section 6; thence
South 3°45' East, 522.3 feet to the place of beginning. Containing 37,285 square feet (0.856
acres) more or less.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
