2017-1442 RESOLUTION NO. 2017 — 1442 Whereas, Anita Day is retiring from City of Janesville employment after having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more than twenty-five years; retiring as an Assistant with the Interlibrary Loan Department at the Hedberg Public Library; and Whereas, during Anita Day's employment with the City of Janesville, she provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of her position, which she performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication; and Whereas, Anita Day began her employment at the Hedberg Public Library as a Circulation Clerk; and Whereas, Anita Day was involved in a variety of assignments during her career including Reference Clerk, and Security Supervisor Substitute; and Whereas, Anita Day received multiple "I Make a Difference" awards for promoting teamwork, making work more efficient, maximizing customer access, and serving customers well; and Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be properly recognized; Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville, through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Anita Day for her more than twenty-five years of loyal public service.
