2017-1414 RESOLUTION NO. 2017-1414
A resolution recognizing Carol Tidwell for her loyal and conscientious service to
the City of Janesville as a City Councilmember.
WHEREAS, Carol Tidwell served the City of Janesville from 2015 to 2017 as a member
of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Tidwell served as Council Vice President in 2015; and
WHEREAS, during her term in office, Ms. Tidwell served as a member of the Alcohol
License Advisory Committee and Community Development Authority; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Tidwell's deep concern for the community, its citizens and their welfare
has characterized her tenure in office throughout; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Tidwell has always performed the duties of a member of the City
Council with an exemplary level of dedication, honesty, and integrity;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Janesville
presents this commendation to Carol Tidwell in sincere appreciation for her loyal and
conscientious service to the City of Janesville.
