2017-1413 RESOLUTION NO. 2017-1413
A resolution recognizing Sam Liebert for his loyal and conscientious service to
the City of Janesville as a City Councilmember.
WHEREAS, Sam Liebert served the City of Janesville from 2011 to 2017 as a member
of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Liebert served as Council President in 2016; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Liebert served as Council Vice President in 2014; and
WHEREAS, during his term in office, Mr. Liebert served as a member of the Audit
Committee, Community Development Authority, Downtown Development Alliance,
Downtown Revitalization Committee, Ice Skating Advisory Committee, Janesville
Innovation Center Board, Plan Commission, Transportation Committee; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Liebert's deep concern for the community, its citizens and their welfare
has characterized his tenure in office throughout; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Liebert has always performed the duties of a member of the City
Council with an exemplary level of dedication, honesty, and integrity;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Janesville
presents this commendation to Sam Liebert in sincere appreciation for his loyal and
conscientious service to the City of Janesville.
