2017-1395 RESOLUTION NO. 2017 — 1395
Whereas, Jane Redenius is retiring from City of Janesville employment after
having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for
seventeen years; retiring as an Administrative Assistant I in the Building & Development
Services Division; and
Whereas, during Jane Redenius' employment with the City of Janesville, she
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of her position, which she performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty,
and dedication; and
Whereas, Jane Redenius began her employment with the City of Janesville in
the Code Administration Department as a Secretary in 1999; and
Whereas, Jane Redenius worked in the Code Administration Department, which
has gone through several name changes and is now known as Building & Development
Services Division, for her entire career with the City of Janesville, and
Whereas, Jane Redenius was recognized by her co-workers for her
achievements, job performance, productivity, exceptional service, dedication, positive
attitude, and participation in civic activities by being awarded the 2016 Public Works
Employee of the Year, and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville
be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Jane Redenius for her
seventeen years of loyal public service.
