An Ordinance establishing a program to charge a lift assist response fee by the City ofJanesville
Fire Department.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 8.28.030 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville is hereby created to
read as follows:
8.28.030 Lift Assist Response — Fee.
A. "Lift Assist Response" is any event in which the Janesville Fire Department is
requested to and/or does respond and take action. Service includes assisting individuals that
have fallen and are not injured.
B. Staffed Nursing and Health Care Facilities who requires, receives, and/or is
provided a Lift Assist Response by the Janesville Fire Department shall be responsible for
payment to the City for the following service response fee:
Lift Assist Response fee: $200.00
