2016-660 ORDINANCE NO. 2016 -660
An ordinance changing and establishing the zoning classification of property
located along the STH 11 Bypass to B4 upon annexation.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
The zoning classification of the property described as follows in Sections I. through III. is
established as B4, Business Highway District.
SECTION I. Part of NW 1 /4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 13, T.2N., R.12E. of the 4th PM Town
of Rock, Rock County, Wisconsin, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the quarter section line 30 rods East of the NW corner of the SW
1/4 of Section 13, Town 2 North, Range 12 East, Township of Rock, County of Rock,
State of Wisconsin; running thence South parallel with the West line of said section a
distance of 20 rods to a point; running thence East and parallel with the North line of said
section a distance of 10 rods to a point; running thence North and parallel with the West
line of said section a distance of 20 rods to the North quarter line of said SW 1/4; running
thence West along the quarter line above referred to, to the point of beginning.
SECTION II. Part of NW 1 /4 of the SW 1 /4 of Section 13, T.2N., R.12E. of the 4th PM
Town of Rock, Rock County, Wisconsin, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the quarter section line 25 rods East of the NW corner of the SW
1/4 of Section 13, Town 2 North, Range 12 East, Township of Rock, County of Rock,
State of Wisconsin; running thence South and parallel with the West line of said section
a distance of 20 rods to a point; running thence East and parallel with the North line of
said section a distance of 5 rods to a point; runn ing thence North and parallel with the
West line of said section, a distance of 20 rods to the North quarter line of said SW 1/4;
running thence West along the quarter line above referred to, to the point of beginning.
SECTION III. Part of NW 1 /4 of the SW 1 /4 of Section 13, T.2N., R.12E. of the 4th PM
Town of Rock, Rock County, Wisconsin, described as follows:
Lot 3 and the East 20 feet of Lot 2 of Certified Survey Map recorded in Volume 2 of
Certified Survey Maps on Pages 337 -339 as Doc. No. 790624 being part of the N 1/2 of
the SW 1/4 of Section 13, T.2N., R.12E., of the 4th P.M., Rock Township, Rock County,
Wisconsin.
SECTION IV. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the
Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public
benefit, and police power so requiring.
