2016-1367 RESOLUTION NO. 2016 — 1367
Whereas, Richard Terwilliger is retiring from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more than seventeen
years; retiring as a Mechanic II with the Neighborhood and Community Services, Transit
Division; and
Whereas, during Richard Terwilliger's employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties
of his position, which he performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication; and
Whereas, Richard Terwilliger began his employment with the City of Janesville as a
Mechanic I with the Transit Division on July 12, 1999; and
Whereas, Richard Terwilliger was promoted to Mechanic II in June of 2002, a position
he has held until the time of his retirement; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Richard Terwilliger for his more than
seventeen years of loyal public service.
