An ordinance allowing the City Clerk to issue temporary operator licenses in accordance with
Wisconsin State Statute 125.17(4)
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Chapter 5.06.09 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Chapter 5.06.09 D
Temporary Operator's License
Sections:
5.06.09 D Temporary Operator's License . Pursuant to Wis. Stats. Sec. 125.17(4)
the City Clerk shall issue a Temporary Operator's Licenses to any individual that meets the
criteria in JGO 5.06.09 B and is employed by, or donating their services to, nonprofit
corporations.
5.06.09 D(1) No person may hold more than two licenses of this kind per year.
5.06.09 D(2) The license is valid for any period from one day to 14 days, and the period
for which it is valid shall be stated on the license.
5.06.09 D(3) The fee for a Temporary Operator's License is $20 per license.
