2016-1335 RESOLUTION NO. 2016 — 1335
Whereas, Connie Conner is retiring from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more than thirty
years; retiring as an Information Technology Specialist with the Information Technology
Division; and
Whereas, during Connie Conner's employment with the City of Janesville, she provided
exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of her
position, which she performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication; and
Whereas, Connie Conner began her employment with the City of Janesville as a
Secretary in the Finance Office in August of 1986; and
Whereas, Connie Conner has held the positions of Secretary I, Secretary II, Executive
Secretary, IT Support Technician and IT Specialist; and has worked in numerous Offices and
Divisions including Finance, City Attorney's Office, City Manager's Office, Water Utility, Clerk -
Treasurer's Office, and Information Technology; and
Whereas, Connie Conner received a recognition for an extraordinary project when she
wrote a voter registration software package that the Clerk- Treasurer's Office; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Connie Conner for her more than thirty
years of loyal public service.
