ORDINANCE NO. 2016 -635
An Ordinance changing East and West Milwaukee Street from a point west of Locust Street
to Atwood Avenue from a one -way street to a two -way street, with a penalty for violations
thereof as provided in JGO Section 10.20.020.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 10.20.010, ONE -WAY STREETS -- DESIGNATION, in the Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Janesville is hereby amended as follows:
EXISTING SUBSECTION:
F. East and West Milwaukee Streets from its intersection with Centerway and West
Court Street easterly to its intersection with Garfield Avenue is designated as a
one -way street or streets on which traffic shall move in a southwesterly direction only
at all times.
SHALL BE REVISED TO READ:
F. 1) West Milwaukee Streets from its intersection with Centerway and West Court
Street easterly to a point 80 feet west of the west line of Locust Street, and 2) East
Milwaukee Street from its intersection with Atwood Avenue to its intersection with
Garfield Avenue are designated as one -way streets on which traffic shall move in a
southwesterly direction only at all times.
