A resolution recognizing Paul B. Murphy for his loyal and conscientious service to the
City of Janesville as a City Councilmember.
WHEREAS, Paul B. Murphy has served the City of Janesville from 1998 to 2004
as a Member of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Murphy served as Council President in 2000; and
WHEREAS, during his term of office, Mr. Murphy has served as a member of
various boards, committees, and commissions in the City; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Murphy's deep concern for the community, its citizens and their
welfare has characterized his tenure in office throughout; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Murphy has always performed the duties of a member of the City
Council with an exemplary level of dedication, honesty, and integrity;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Janesville presents this commendation to Paul B. Murphy in sincere appreciation
for his loyal and conscientious service to the City of Janesville.
