2016-1318 RESOLUTION NO. 2016 -1318
A Resolution acknowledging the Common Council's review of the 2015 Compliance
Maintenance Annual Report of the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
WHEREAS, the City of Janesville is required by State regulation to annually prepare a
Compliance Maintenance Report that describes the physical conditions and performance of
the City's wastewater treatment and collection facilities; and,
WHEREAS, as part of the report preparation process, the Department of Natural
Resources of the State of Wisconsin (DNR) requires the Common Council to adopt a
resolution acknowledging that it has reviewed the Compliance Maintenance Annual Report;
and,
WHEREAS, the Utility Director has submitted the Compliance Maintenance Annual
Report of the City of Janesville Wastewater Treatment Plant, dated May 9, 2016, to the
Common Council for its review;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Janesville that it has reviewed the aforementioned Compliance Maintenance Annual Report
and finds that no action by Common Council is necessary at this time to maintain compliance
with current effluent limitations.
