2016-1286 RESOLUTION NO. 2016 — 1286
Whereas, Richard J. Haviza is retiring from City of Janesville employment after
having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more
than thirty -four years; retiring as the City Assessor for the City of Janesville; and
Whereas, during Richard Haviza's employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of his position, which he performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty,
and dedication; and
Whereas, Richard Haviza began his employment with the City of Janesville as a
Planning Aide in the Planning Department; and
Whereas, Richard Haviza has held the positions of Planning Aide, Associate
Planner I, Associate Planner II, Senior Planner, Assessment Operations Manager, and
City Assessor; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville
be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Richard Haviza for his
more than thirty -four years of loyal public service.
