2016-1287 RESOLUTION NO. 2016 — 1287
Whereas, Jean "Jeanne" Lewis, is retiring from City of Janesville employment
after having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for
more than sixteen years; retiring as a Customer Service Representative for the Clerk -
Treasurer's Office; and
Whereas, during Jeanne's employment with the City of Janesville, she provided
exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties
of her position, which she performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty, and
dedication; and
Whereas, Jeanne began and ended her employment with the City of Janesville
as a Customer Service Representative in the Clerk- Treasurer's Office where she was
the "face" of the Clerk- Treasurer's Office at the front window; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville
be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Jean Lewis for her
more than sixteen years of loyal public service.
