2016-1298 RESOLUTION NO. 2016 -1298
A resolution recognizing Jim Farrell for his loyal and conscientious service to the
City of Janesville as a City Councilmember.
WHEREAS, Jim Farrell served the City of Janesville from 2012 to 2016 as a member of
the City Council; and
WHEREAS, during his term in office, Mr. Farrell served as a member of the Audit
Committee; Downtown Development Alliance; Janesville Innovation Center Board;
Library Board of Trustees; Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee; and Sustainable
Janesville Committee; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Farrell's deep concern for the community, its citizens and their welfare
has characterized his tenure in office throughout; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Farrell has always performed the duties of a member of the City
Council with an exemplary level of dedication, honesty, and integrity;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Janesville
presents this commendation to Jim Farrell in sincere appreciation for his loyal and
conscientious service to the City of Janesville.
