2004-001RESOLUTION NO. 2004-001
WHEREAS, Douglas F. Reinke is retiring from City of ]anesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of ]anesville and the community for thirty-two years as a
Patrol Officer, Detective and Sergeant; retiring as a Lieutenant with the Police Department; and
WHEREAS, Douglas F. Reinke was a graduate of the Northwestern University School of
Police Staff and Command and served the Police Department in both the Patrol Division and
Investigation Division; and
WHEREAS, during Douglas F. Reinke's employment with the City of ]anesville, he provided
exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of his
position, which he performed with competence, sincerity, honesty and dedication; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be properly
recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of ]anesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Douglas F. Reinke for his thirty-two years of
loyal public service.
