An ordinance changing the zoning classification of property located at the northeast
corner of Tripp and Hayner Roads from R3 to R1, with a penalty and injunctive relief for a
violation thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General Ordinances of
the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVlLLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed
from R3, General Residence District, to R1, Single and Two-Family Residence District:
Part of the South ½ of the Northeast ¼ of Section 16, T.2N., R.12E, of the 4th P.M., City of
Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin, described as follows:
Commencing at the East ¼ corner of Section 16 aforesaid; thence North 89o50'44'' West,
1758.12 feet along the East-West centerline of Section 16 aforesaid to the place of beginning;
thence continuing along the East-West centerline of Section 16 aforesaid North 89050'44" West,
894.42 feet to the Center of Section 16 aforesaid, also being the centerline-centerline
intersection of Tripp Road and Hayner Road; thence North 00°41 '07" West 625.18 feet along
the North-South centerline of Section 16 aforesaid; thence South 89050'57" East 610.24 feet;
thence Southeasterly along a curve to the right 196.56 feet with a radius of 200 feet and a chord
bearing and distance of South 61°41 '39" East, 188.74 feet; thence South 33°32'21'' East, 168.21
feet; thence Southeasterly along a curve to the right 117.60 feet with a radius of 200 feet and a
chord bearing and distance of South 16°41 '39" East, 115.91 feet; thence South 00°09'03'' West
285.21 feet to the place of beginning; containing 12.26 acres.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
