2016-1265 RESOLUTION NO. 2016 —1265
Whereas, Scott Wasemiller is retiring from City of Janesville employment after
having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more
than twenty -nine years; retiring as a Police School Liaison Officer with the Janesville
Police Department; and
Whereas, during Scott Wasemiller's employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of his position, which he performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty,
and dedication; and
Whereas, Scott Wasemiller began his employment with the Janesville Police
Department as a Patrol Officer; and
Whereas, Scott Wasemiller was involved in a variety of assignments during his
career including A Shift Uniform Patrol, B Shift Uniform Patrol, C Shift Uniform Patrol,
Rock County Metro Unit, Field Training Officer, SWAT Sniper, and Police School
Liaison Officer at Parker High School; and
Whereas, Scott Wasemiller received the Janesville Police Department's Police
Officer of the Year Award in 2000; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville
be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Scott Wasemiller for
his more than twenty -nine years of loyal public service.
