2016-1268 RESOLUTION NO. 2016 — 1268
Whereas, David Lou is retiring from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for thirty -seven
years; retiring as the Facilities Manager with the City of Janesville Public
Works/Technical Services Division; and
Whereas, during David Lou's employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of his position, which he performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty,
and dedication; and
Whereas, David Lou began his employment with the City of Janesville as a
Laboror I in the Streets Department; and
Whereas, David Lou has held the positions of Laborer I, Laborer III, Leadman II
in the Technical Services Department, Electrician /Property Technician, and Facilities
Manager; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville
be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to David Lou for his
more than thirty -seven years of loyal public service.
