2016-1266 RESOLUTION NO. 2016 — 1266 Whereas, Thomas Fuller is retiring from City of Janesville employment after having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more than thirty -one years; retiring as a Lieutenant with the Janesville Fire Department; and Whereas, during Thomas Fuller's employment with the City of Janesville, he provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of his position, which he performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication; and Whereas, Thomas Fuller began his employment with the Janesville Fire Department as a firefighter /paramedic; and Whereas, Thomas Fuller was involved in a variety of assignments during his career including firefighter, paramedic, driver, recruit trainer, technical rescue technician, Lieutenant, and is the last active founding member of the Department's scuba dive team; and Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be properly recognized; Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville, through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Thomas Fuller for his more than thirty -one years of loyal public service.
