2016-1262 RESOLUTION NO. 2016 — 1262
Whereas, Stephan Brown is retiring from City of Janesville employment after
having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for thirty -
five years; retiring as the Water Operator II with the City of Janesville Public
Works/Water Utility Division; and
Whereas, during Stephan Brown's employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of his position, which he performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty,
and dedication; and
Whereas, Stephan Brown began his employment with the City of Janesville as a
Laborer I in the Parks Division; and
Whereas, Stephan Brown has held the positions of Laborer I, Grounds
Maintenance II, Equipment Operator I, Waterworks Operator I, and Water Operator II;
and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville
be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Stephan Brown for his
more than thirty -five years of loyal public service.
