WHEREAS, Franklyn A. Schmeling is retiring from City of ]anesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for thirty years, retiring as
Acting Garage Supervisor with the Public Works Operations Department; and
WHEREAS, during Franklyn A. Schmeling's employment with the City of ]anesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of
his position, which he performed with competence, sincerity, honesty and dedication; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of ]anesville be properly
recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of _lanesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Franklyn A. Schmeling for his thirty years of
loyal public service.
