2015-1238 RESOLUTION NO. 2015 - 1238
Whereas, Thomas Lemery is retiring from City of Janesville employment
after having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the
community for more than twenty eight years; retiring as a Liaison Officer with the
Janesville Police Department; and
Whereas, during Thomas Lemery's employment with the City of
Janesville, he provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated
conscientious devotion to the duties of his position, which he performed with skill
and ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication; and
Whereas, Thomas Lemery began his employment with the Janesville
Police Department as a Patrol Officer; and
Whereas, Thomas Lemery was involved in a variety of assignments
during his career including B Shift Uniform Patrol, Field Training Officer,
Intoxilyzer Operator, and a School Liaison Officer at Craig High School; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of
Janesville be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Thomas
Lemery for his more than twenty -eight years of loyal public service.
